Hi, ___.

Oh hi ___. How's it going?

Great.

I dropped by your place yesterday around lunch but you weren't in.

No, I was eating out at that new pizza place.

What new pizza place?

The one on Maple Street. Joey's Pizza.

Oh, right. Joey's Pizza. I heard about it. How was it? 

It was awesome. I went with a few of the guys after football practice. 

What kind of pizza did you have? 

We wanted to try a few, so we ordered three different pizzas and had a slice or two from each one. 

You ate six slices of pizza?

No, actually. I just ate five.

Just?! Whoa!

I was hungry from playing football. Jeez! Anyway, as I was saying... We wanted to check out a few of the different toppings, so we ordered the Four Cheese with Pepperoni, the Hawaiian, and the Sweet and Hot Pepper. 

Hawaiian? What's on a Hawaiian pizza? 

Tomato sauce, cheese, ham, and pineapple.

Pineapple? That's disgusting.

No, it was really yummy. You should try it.

I hate pineapple.

OK, so try the others. They were really delicious!

Yeah, the hot peppers sound good. I love spicy food.

Oh, that reminds me. There's a new Indian food place over on Chestnut Drive. 

I've heard of that. The Taj Mahal Restaurant?

Yeah. Wanna check it out?

What about Friday night? Do you have any plans for Friday night?

Yeah. It should be fun. I think everyone will be going.

Not yet, but I was thinking about something funny for his new car. Like a cleaning kit. You know how obsessed he is about keeping his car clean.

Yeah, that would be funny. 

What are you going to buy him?

Nothing.

I'm not going to buy him anything.

No, I'm going to bake him a strawberry cheesecake. It's his favorite!

Yummy! I love strawberry cheesecake!

If you're lucky, maybe he will share.
